South End apartment hunting? Best studio apartments starting at $1,295 available right now

Last week I toured the best apartments in South End to see what the lowest rent prices in the best buildings can get you (aka studio apartments).

Across the board, kitchens are spacious, storage is decent, and there’s some privacy in the bedroom area, despite the studio layout. Plus, you still get the high-end finishes other units in the building have.

I learned most complexes have fewer studios than other floor plans, and they don’t become available too often. Luckily, there are a few for rent right now and some will be coming available in the next 60 days.So if you’re looking for a new spot and plan to live on your own, check these out.

Price: $1,295-$1,350

Camden Gallery

Total number of studios: 70

Available now: 5 (within the next 60 days)

Price: $1,398 (includes cable, internet, parking and valet trash)

Square footage: 516-540

Amenities: Hardwoods floors; spacious closets; stacked full-sized washer and dryer; and privacy wall around bedroom.

Camden Grandview

Total number of studios: 14 (yes, we’re counting this as South End even though it’s close to Uptown)

Available now: 0 now; 1 in the next 60 days

Price: $1,511 (includes cable, internet and parking)

Square footage: 1,056

Amenities: Incredibly spacious with wonderful views.

Camden Southline

Available now: 2 now; 2 in the next 60 days

Price: $1,468-$1,498 (now); $1,278-$1,298 (in the next 60 days)

Square footage: 605-674

Amenities: Wood floors throughout; privacy walls around bedroom; and spacious closets.
