Lake Travis has risen dramatically over the past week after heavy rainfall across the Hill Country sent a surge of water into the Highland Lakes.
By the numbers: After hovering around 671 feet, the lake climbed roughly 13 feet between July 16 and July 19, reaching about 684.6 feet at Mansfield Dam.
