I recently stoppedbyRise Coffee and Bakery in southwest Austin as part of our ongoing quest to try every single iced drink in town this summer.
🏆 Pro tip: I got the iced chai latte ($4.75), but I asked for it half-milk.
This is because (a) I am child-like and (b) too much chai mix is objectively not good.
The intrigue: A cute spot with lovely confections, Rise has got an instagram-ready alcove that says, in neon script, "i love cupcakes so much."
It's a nod of course to the "i love you so much" mural outside Jo's Coffee on South Congress Avenue. (I was left wondering how the intellectual property on that works. Attorneys who are readers, feel free to weigh in.)
