👋 Nicole here, with your fill of sweet and savory treats.
What's happening: I recently stopped by Abby Jane Bakeshop (see above), which is a lovely, 20-minute drive from my home in Southwest Austin.
🍽️ To order: Naturally, I left with a box full of pastries and lunch.
The shop offers an array of sandwiches, quiche, sourdough, focaccia and coffee. It's perfect for a trip for breakfast or lunch — or both.
Don't skip the ham and cheese croissant ($5.75), with whole grain mustard. I seriously wish I ordered enough to last me all week. Love's croissants are among the best you'll find in Austin.
And I loved the cinnamon roll ($5.50), slathered with cream cheese frosting.
Worth noting: The bakery goes on a short summer break July 13-22.
