We recently caught up with Love for our regular series on Austin restaurateurs' favorite meals.

This conversation has been lightly edited for clarity.

You can bring one meal to your desert island. What is it?

"I'm a Louisiana girl, so a big basket of fried Gulf shrimp from Quality Seafood, with hush puppies and fried okra. Ample tartar and cocktail sauce. I like my condiments."

Obviously, we're not skipping dessert. What will you be having?

"This is my imaginary island so I can create my own mash-up, right? It would have to be a huge slice of the Banana Chocolate Walnut Cake from Rockman Coffee + Bakeshop (warm!) with plentiful scoops of Caramel Salt Lick from Lick Honest Ice Creams."

And to drink?

"Let's be so serious; it's coffee. I love every single drink coming out of Peaches Coffee; they are delicious, creative, and spot-on every time."
