Texas French Bread readies for reopening

Texas French Bread's beloved brick-and-mortar restaurant and bakery, by 29th and Rio Grande streets, could reopen this spring. The building burned down in January 2022.

What they're saying: "We don't have a date specific at this time, but we're targeting early to mid-April and crossing our fingers," co-owner Murph Willcott tells Axios.

The bottom line: "It is glorious to see that light coming through into the space again," Willcott wrote on Substack in November.
