Ahead of the winter-planting season, the city of Austin is hosting a free community seed share on Saturday.
Why it matters: It's your chance to hold in your hand the seemingly magical building blocks of plants — and meet fellow Austin gardeners.
What's happening: The event features a lecture on local climate-adapted crop varieties. It also includes:
📍 If you go: The seed share runs 10am to 2pm at Turner Roberts Recreation Center in East Austin.
