A spacecraft operated by Cedar Park's Firefly Aerospace has been sending images back from its orbit around the Earth.
Why it matters: The Blue Ghost lunar lander, which launched from NASA's Kennedy Space Center in Florida on Jan. 15, will soon head to the moon.
The spacecraft will deliver 10 science and technology instruments to the lunar surface, aimed at paving the way for the return of humans to the Moon and delivering insights into how space weather and other cosmic forces impact Earth.
🌎 The big picture: Our planet is pretty darn amazing.
