Take a break from Netflix to watch some big-screen greats.
Driving the news: Organizers of the Paramount Summer Classic Film Series on Wednesday unveiled the lineup for the first half of the summer and, per usual, it opens with "Casablanca" — on May 26.
Why you should go: The Paramount is a classy old joint to watch a movie, with nary a bad seat in the house.
- Also, it's air conditioned.
Others of our favorites on the lineup:
- The action flick "Mad Max: Fury Road," starring Charlize Theron, on June 9.
- "Paris is Burning," the landmark documentary that captures the 1980s New York City drag ball scene, slated for June 10.
- And the Japanese comedy "Tampopo" — which should be included in any food-in-movies festival — on July 8.
