A stylish new concept from prominent Austin restaurant group McGuire Moorman Lambert opened last month in Clarksville, offering a menu of seasonal plates and vibrant cocktails.
The big picture: New eateries are cropping up across the city faster than we can count, and this is one you'll want on your list to impress your pals.
Details: The airy bar and dining room, tucked behind Outdoor Voices and sister concept Clark's at 1200 W. 6th St #B, stole the show during Sami's golden hour visit.
- Crisp linens, light wood paneling and lots of color and texture made the space feel elevated but familiar, like it's always been there without you noticing.

Menu: Day-and-night options include elegant light bites, a bevy of shareable pizzas and pastas, plus some heavier entrees ranging from $34 to $70.
- We ordered the zucchini fritto, a nest of fried shoestring veggies that seemed like a fan favorite — everyone around me had also ordered it.
- The hand-cut tagliatelle, spicy and herby, was perfect to split along with the half portion of roasted chicken.

Drinks: Order a gorgeous yet strong "Spring Mezcal Daisy" cocktail (Rey Campero espadin, strawberry curaçao, lime, hibiscus, ginger salt) and thank me later. Or try something off the wine list.
Between the lines: MML Hospitality is behind some of Austin's most iconic restaurant brands, from South Congress staples Perla's, Joann's Fine Foods and Neighborhood Sushi, among others, to downtown spots Sammie's Italian and Swedish Hill.
The bottom line: Keep this chic addition to the Austin food scene in your pocket for a special occasion or celebratory drink.
- Of note: Valet parking is available along with limited parking on the west side of the restaurant and throughout the neighborhood. Swedish Hill lot parking is available after 6pm.
