Las Vegas suspect is Stephen Paddock, 64

Stephen Paddock has been identified as the suspect in the Las Vegas shooting that killed at least 58 people and injured more than 500. Paddock, a 64-year-old white man, was a resident of Mesquite, Nevada, per NBC.

According to NBC and other outlets, Paddock's brother Eric has said their father was Patrick Benjamin Paddock, a bank robber who was on the FBI's most wanted list before being captured in 1978, per NY Mag.

Police have also reportedly located 62-year-old Marilou Danley, wanted as a person of interest. Danley and Paddock lived together.

The NFL warms up to betting

Starting this season, NFL teams in states with legal sports betting will be allowed to have in-stadium betting lounges and accept sponsorships from sportsbooks and betting operators, per multiple reports.

One caveat: There will not be any physical betting windows in the lounges, so they're more "hangout spots for bettors" than an actual "places to make bets."
