Facebook separating Workplace from main site

Workplace, Facebook's counterpart to Slack, "is moving onto a website domain separate from in an effort to build trust with customers," CNBC's Salvador Rodriguez reports.

The big picture: "The new domain,, is now live as a marketing website. It is expected to go into use as a landing page for Workplace by Facebook customers sometime in 2019." Customers have expressed concern "that the enterprise tool is hosted on the same domain as Facebook's consumer business."
