NBA All-Star weekend takes over Los Angeles this week, bringing three days of games, concerts and fan events across the city.
Why it matters: Last year's event generated more than $300 million in economic impact to the San Francisco area, according to Temple University's Sports Industry Research Center.
Here are the NBA events to attend during All-Star weekend.

NBA Crossover
What it is: A four-day fan experience with player and celebrity discussions, photo ops, and shows at the Los Angeles Convention Center. Tickets
What's inside: Concerts headlined by Ludacris, Shaboozey and Cortis, DJ sets from Joey Fatone and Pauly D, an arcade, kids' playground, memorabilia displays, and appearances by players and content creators.
Hours: 4-9pm Thursday, 2-11pm Friday, 10am-9pm Saturday, 10am-5pm Sunday

All-Star Celebrity Game
What it is: An exhibition game between celebrities and public figures — this year's teams include Keegan Michael-Key, GloRilla, Taylor Frankie Paul and Simu Liu. Tickets
💭 My thought bubble: I'm tuning in to see 57-year-old Charlotte Hornets co-owner Rick Schnall and 46-year-old Phoenix Suns owner Matt Ishbia guard each other.

Rising Stars Game
What it is: The NBA's best rookies and second-year players compete in a four-team tournament. Tickets
The intrigue: After their high-scoring affair on Jan. 29, former Duke teammates Kon Knueppel (Team T-Mac) and Cooper Flagg (Team Melo) may face off again.
When: 6pm Friday

NBA HBCU Classic
What it is: This fifth edition of this showcase of HBCU basketball will feature the men's teams from Hampton University and North Carolina A&T. Tickets
Driving the news: The NBA and AT&T will donate $100,000 to both schools.

All-Star Saturday
Highlights: This three-event series features the 3-point contest headlined by Damian Lillard and Devin Booker, a movement shooting competition starring New York Knicks star Jalen Brunson, and the slam dunk contest with Jase Richardson — son of two-time winner Jason Richardson.

NBA G League Next Up Game
What it is: Fans attending NBA Crossover on Sunday will have the opportunity to watch players from the NBA's development branch (the G League) play in a four-team tournament.
Zoom in: The teams feature former high NBA draft picks and college basketball stars, including Killian Hayes, James Bouknight and RJ Davis.
When: 11:30am Sunday
All-Star Game
The latest: The penultimate event will be played in a new USA vs. World format featuring two teams made up of American players and one team of international players.
What we're watching: This may be the last time we see Lebron James on the court at All-Star weekend.
