Where to get National Doughnut Day deals and freebies Friday

Free doughnuts are on the menu Friday for National Doughnut Day, also known as National Donut Day in some circles.
The big picture: June 6 is the made-up food holiday for one of America's favorite treats, and national chains — including 7-Eleven, Krispy Kreme and Dunkin' — are celebrating with savings on a sugar fix.
- The day was established in Chicago in 1938 to honor the Salvation Army Donut Lassies who served the treats to soldiers during World War I.
Doughnut Day deals 2025
The following deals and freebies are offered at participating businesses Friday, while supplies last. Some require a loyalty program membership or in-app order.
- 7-Eleven said 7Rewards and Speedy Rewards members can get a classic glazed donut for 50 cents at participating convenience stores as well as at Speedway and Stripes locations.
- Duck Donuts is giving away free cinnamon sugar doughnuts Friday, no purchase necessary.
- Dunkin' locations are offering a free doughnut with any beverage purchase Friday. The brand also debuts a limited-time collaboration at 10am ET Friday with Stoney Clover Lane on the designer's website with select merchandise available at participating Dunkin' locations.
- Krispy Kreme offers a free doughnut Friday at participating shops, no purchase necessary. Get a dozen Original Glazed doughnuts for $2 with the purchase of any dozen at regular price. From Saturday through June 20, rewards member can get a dozen glazed doughnuts for $9.99.
- Lidl is giving customers a free glazed yeast doughnut with any purchase and the MyLidl app. Use the code FREEDONUT in the app to redeem the deal.
- Maverik says its Nitro cardholders can redeem one free doughnut Friday while Adventure Club members and Kum & Go's &Rewards members get 50% off doughnuts.
- Paris Baguette rewards members get their choice of a free sugar mochi or small twisted doughnut with any purchase Friday.
- Sheetz is celebrating Friday through June 10 by giving a free doughnut with the purchase of a fountain drink, coffee or bottled beverage with an offer on the chain's app.
- Shipley Do-Nuts is giving away free signature glazed doughnuts with any purchase Friday and will offer a freebie every Friday in June. Use promo code DonutMonth25 to get the freebie on the app or online.
- Tim Hortons' Tims Rewards members get a free doughnut with any drink purchase through June 8.
