Court orders Trump administration to transfer detained Tufts student to Vermont

Threat level: In Louisiana, Öztürk has endured crowded and contaminated dorms, 45-minute asthma attacks and uncontrollable coughing, she said in court filings.

• "It has become progressively harder to recover from these asthma attacks while in detention," Öztürk said. "I am very concerned about the severity of these attacks and my ability to manage them."
• At one point, a nurse removed Öztürk's hijab without consent, she said.

What they're saying: "Every day Ms. Öztürk spends in confinement is an affront to the constitution," Mudassar Toppa, staff attorney at CLEAR, a legal nonprofit and clinic at CUNY School of Law, said in a statement.
