The NBA's All-Star festivities begin on Valentine's Day and extend through the weekend.
State of play: The All-Star Game will have a new four-team, three-day format, and there will also be the fan favorites: celebrity All-Star Game, three-point contest, skills challenge and the slam dunk competition.
- "This year's All-Star Weekend will eschew the conventional four-quarter format for the first time in 74 years and will culminate in a tournament-style showdown," writes Axios' Ross Terrell.

When is the 2025 NBA All-Star Game?
The All-Star Game tournament starts at 8pm ET on Sunday at the Chase Center in San Francisco. There will be a Game 1 (8:20pm), Game 2 (9:10pm) and the championship (10pm).
- The celebrity All-Star Game is 7pm ET on Friday at Oakland Arena. Celebs will include San Francisco Giants legend Barry Bonds, Atlanta rapper 2 Chainz, streamer Kai Cenat and country singer Mickey Guyton.

TNT and TruTV will air the All-Star Game tournament on TV.
- The Celebrity All-Star Game will be on ESPN.
- The three-point contest, skills challenge and slam dunk competition will be on TNT.
