• The opening remarks Gabbard first provided to the Senate Intelligence Committee included lines later removed from the final version that she delivered at Thursday's hearing, according to both copies obtained by Axios.

The other side: "Committee asked for a draft a day in advance before Tulsi had finished writing her remarks," Alexa Henning, a Gabbard spokesperson, told Axios.

• "She had not yet put her seal of approval on the version shared. What she delivered was her approved version."

• In another cut line, Gabbard accuses two intelligence officials of unlawfully leaking classified information to The New York Times to damage her. "Not only is leaking and publishing such information a serious crime, but the narrative they are pushing — amplified by the Propaganda Media — is utterly absurd," she said.
• "The intelligence failures and manipulations to support President Bush's desire to launch a regime change war in Iraq exacted a cost on the American people and our national security that is impossible to measure — we are still paying the price to this day," begins another deleted line.

• "This is why many of us in the post-9/11 generation of veterans remain skeptical when politicians cite intelligence as a reason to start a new regime change war."
