A portrait of Andrew Jackson—"Old Hickory," the seventh president — is back in the Oval Office. So is President Trump's Diet Coke button.
The big picture: The Oval Office getsa new look every time there's a new president, as each commander-in-chief selects their own artwork and some of their own furniture.
Zoom in: In addition to a portrait of Jackson,Trump brought back a bust of Winston Churchill and flags of the military services, both of which were removed under Biden, per the Wall Street Journal, which got a first look at the new decor.
Biden's blue rug has been replaced with a more neutral one, which required disassembling some parts of the Resolute Desk.
Biden kept Trump's gold curtains when he came into office, so those didn't need to be changed.
