"Bookie" season 2 available now on Max
State of play: A Los Angeles bookie (played by Sebastian Maniscalco) and his enforcer (played by Omar J. Dorsey) deal with unstable clients and the threat of legalized sports betting in this comedy series.
The intrigue: Charlie Sheen, Ray Romano, Zach Braff and Brad Garrett guest star this season.
What they're saying: Chuck Lorre, creator of this series and "Two and a Half Men," spoke about reuniting with Sheen more than a decade after their public feud.
- "We were both ready to move on, put the past behind us, and hopefully make people laugh," Lorre told Axios.

Behind the scenes: Patrick Gibson stars as Dexter Morgan in this prequel to the Emmy-winning crime drama "Dexter."
