State of play: GLAAD award nominee Nneka Onuorah directs this film that focuses on the Houston rapper's personal journey from becoming famous to dealing with the death of her mother and her highly publicized shooting in 2020.
Driving the news: Last Friday, the three-time Grammy winner released a deluxe edition of her self-titled album "Megan" that includes 13 additional tracks.
"Wizards Beyond Waverly Place" available now on Disney+
The vibe: David Henrie will reprise the role of Justin Russo and star in this continuation of "Wizards of Waverly Place."
Behind the scenes: Selena Gomez is an executive producer along with Henrie and is slated to appear in the pilot episode.
