Joe Rogan to interview JD Vance on Wednesday

Joe Rogan will interview Republican vice presidential nominee Sen. JD Vance (R-Ohio) on Wednesday, a Vance spokesperson told Axios on Tuesday.

Why it matters: With less than a week to the election, Vance's interview could follow the momentum of former President Trump's, which reached tens of millions in days.

"The Joe Rogan Experience" is particularly popular among young men, a key voter demographic for Trump.

Catch up quick: Rogan's three-hour interview with Trump has received more than 37 million views on YouTube since it was published on Friday.

Trump made 32 false claims to Rogan about topics including immigration, the 2020 election and the environment, according to a CNN fact check.

The other side: Late Monday Rogan said Vice President Kamala Harris' campaign has not turned down an interview with him — but requested that he travel for it.

"I strongly feel the best way to do it is in the studio in Austin," he said on X. "My sincere wish is to just have a nice conversation and get to know her as a human being. I really hope we can make it happen."

Zoom out: Both campaigns have turned to non-traditional media like podcasts to reach potential voters as American trust in mass media reached historic lows this year.
