Sean "Diddy" Combs slammed with 120 new sexual assault allegations

Sean "Diddy" Combs is facing an exponentially growing number of sexual assault allegations after a Texas-based attorney announced 120 accusers have come forward.

The big picture: The music mogul was charged last month with racketeering conspiracy, sex trafficking and transportation to engage in prostitution.

Several other sexual assault lawsuits have been filed against Combs.

Driving the news: Houston Attorney Tony Buzbee said in a press conference Tuesday that his firm is now representing dozens of people who intend to bring civil claims against Combs and "many other individuals and entities that we will name as defendants."

Twenty-five of the accusers were minors at the time of the alleged assaults, Buzbee said.
The youngest was 9 years old at the time of the alleged occurrence.
Sixty of the plaintiffs are male and 60 are female, Buzbee said.
"I expect that through this process, many powerful people will be exposed," he added.

Zoom out: The alleged conduct spans from 1991 to 2024.

While some of the alleged assaults occurred at parties, others happened at auditions, especially with young alleged victims "wanting to break into the industry," Buzbee said.
He alleged a "common theme" in which victims were given a "laced" drink before the assault.
Defendants beyond Combs, he said, will include individuals who engaged
in the alleged assaults, who helped cover up the alleged crimes and those who witnessed or were aware of the alleged injustices and did nothing to stop them.

Catch up quick: Between at least 2008 and now, "Combs abused, threatened and coerced victims to fulfill his sexual desires, protect his reputation and conceal his conduct," Damian Williams, U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of New York, said at a press conference announcing Combs' federal indictment.

Combs pleaded not guilty and has been denied bail.
Combs' attorney did not immediately respond to Axios' request for comment.

What we're watching: The claims lawyers intend to bring, Buzbee said, include violent sexual assault or rape, sexual abuse, false imprisonment and sexual abuse of minors, among others.

He said he expects the cases to be filed within the next 30 days.
