Here's what's new on Peacock, Netflix, Apple TV+, Prime Video, Paramount+ and Max.
What we're watching: A new season of Peacock's "Fresh Prince" reboot, a touching documentary about a unique daddy-daughter dance and a new action-comedy starring Awkwafina and John Cena.
"Bel-Air" season 3 available now on Peacock
The intrigue: This drama based on "The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air" gets juicier in a summer when Will starts to think about life outside of basketball while the Banks family, Jazz and Geoffrey all deal with life-altering trials.
What they're saying: "The coming-of-age story is something that a lot of people can relate to," Jabari Banks, who portrays Will, told Axios.
- "We tackle a lot of heavy topics, but young Black boys and girls deserve coming-of-age stories. We need to see more of ourselves in the media."
"Daughters" available now on Netflix
State of play: This moving documentary follows four young girls preparing for a daddy-daughter dance with their incarcerated fathers.
Driving the news: The film won Festival Favorite and the Audience Award at the Sundance Film Festival.
"Jackpot!" available now on Prime Video
My thought bubble: This comedy starring Awkwafina, John Cena and Simu Liu is the perfect combination of action and ridiculous, laugh-out-loud moments.
Fun fact: The film is set in Los Angeles, but was filmed in Atlanta.
- "There's big tax breaks in Atlanta and in Georgia," director Paul Feig told Axios. "I'm actually amazed at how much it does look like LA."
"Emily in Paris" season 4 on Netflix
- In a statement, creator Darren Star said that Emily will have a busier travel schedule this season (in addition to being in a love triangle), "from the French Alps to the piazzas of Rome." Available now
- The fine print: The season is split into two five-episode parts; part two premieres Sept. 12.
"Bad Monkey" on Apple TV+
- Vince Vaughn stars in this comedy series about a Florida health inspector who tries to solve a mysterious murder in hopes of getting his job back with the Miami Police Department. Available now
"RuPaul's Drag Race Global All Stars" on Paramount+
- Renowned drag queens from 12 countries will compete for the title of "Queen of the Mothertucking World," $200,000 and a spot in the Drag Race Hall of Fame. Available Friday
"The Union" on Netflix
