An action-packed summer at the 2024 Olympics in Paris is coming to an end.
The big picture: More than 10,000 athletes from around the world competed for gold medals in 329 medal events for more than 30 sports.
What we're watching: The closing will include the athletes' parade, a medal presentation ceremony and the handing over of the Olympic flag to organizers of the 2028 Olympic Games in Los Angeles.
Flashback: An extravagant opening ceremony drew nearly 29 million viewers, marking the highest viewership since the 2012 Games.
When and where is the Olympics closing ceremony?
The closing ceremony will take place on Sunday at 3pm ET.
- The closing will take place at Stade de France, the national stadium of France located north of Paris.
- It's expected to run until 5:15pm ET on Sunday.

The closing ceremony will air on NBC.
