The Paris Olympics are underway, and we're following some of America's favorite athletes: Simone Biles, LeBron James, Katie Ledecky, Jagger Eaton, Nyjah Huston, Sophia Smith and more.
Here's when Team USA's biggest stars will compete for a chance at gold this weekend:
Simone Biles returns to Olympic gymnastics
- Simone Biles' anticipated return to the Olympic stage in women's qualifications (subdivision 2) will come at 5:40am ET Sunday.
- Don't miss: Fred Richard, a rising star in men's artistic gymnastics from the University of Michigan. The U.S. men will compete in qualifications beginning at 5am ET Saturday.
LeBron James leads men's basketball against Serbia
- While LeBron James is making his Paris Olympic debut as a flag bearer, the first time we'll see him on the court is this weekend.
- Along with Stephen Curry and Kevin Durant, he will lead Team USA against Serbia in group competition, airing on NBC at 11am ET Sunday.
Katie Ledecky's first medal shot
- The seven-time Olympic gold medalist will look to add to her tally beginning with the women's 400-meter freestyle final airing at 2:30pm ET Saturday on NBC and USA Network.
Skateboarding (street) final is Saturday
- Jagger Eaton and Nyjah Huston, ranked fourth and sixth in the world respectively, will try to make the podium in the street skating final Saturday.
- What we're watching: Men's street prelims are at 6am ET Saturday. The final will air at 11:30am ET Saturday on NBC.
Women's National Soccer Team kicks off
- Catch Portland Thorns star Sophia Smith and the United States Women's National Soccer Team against Germany at 3pm ET Sunday on USA.
- Driving the news: The National Women's Soccer League has 56 players in the Olympics, more than any other league.
