C3.ai, the enterprise AI startup run by Tom Siebel, is announcing today a new effort to help government agencies use generative AI to deliver and explain the services they provide.
Why it matters: Government contracts can be a lucrative addition to an enterprise business, but often require additional security guarantees and the ability to navigate complex bureaucracies.
Driving the news: C3 Generative AI for Government Programs, as the new service is dubbed, taps Google's cloud to securely deliver the product for federal, state or local governments that want to improve the productivity of their online chat and contact centers.
What they're saying: "Government programs and services make the most impact when those who need them can smoothly use them," Siebel said in a statement.
"Understanding and accessing vital services and benefits programs can be an overwhelming process for many, and C3 Generative AI for Government Programs provides an easy way to get clear and quick answers to questions about the intricacies of these services."
