New York judge throws out Giuliani's bankruptcy case

• Giuliani, former President Trump's ex-personal lawyer, has a myriad of other creditors who may begin pursuing remedies as well.

Context: Giuliani sought bankruptcy protection after losing the defamation case against Ruby Freeman and her daughter Shaye Moss last year.

• The jury ordered Giuliani to pay millions in damages for repeating baseless allegations that the two election workers committed ballot fraud during the 2020 election.
• During the bankruptcy case, several of his creditors formed a committee seeking relief.

What's inside: As part of U.S. Bankruptcy Judge Sean Lane's order, Giuliani will not be allowed to seek bankruptcy protections for at least one year.

• Lane said Giuliani failed to meet financial transparency requirements as a debtor and did nothing after being told told he needed to remedy issues raised by the court.
