Apple's take on Formula 1 to hit theaters next year

Roughly a year from now, Apple's Formula 1 film, creatively titled "F1," will circulate in theaters worldwide.

Why it matters: "F1" represents two of the tech giant's major media ambitions, creating sports content and pushing into traditional films.

Driving the news: The first teaser for "F1," which is set to be released the last week of June 2025, dropped yesterday during the British Grand Prix.

Brad Pitt, Kerry Condon, Javier Bardem and Damson Idris stars in the film, which will mix in real track footage during F1 events.
Pitt is also a producer, alongside F1 star Lewis Hamilton and others.
"F1" is directed by Joseph Kosinski and features music by Hans Zimmer — who had teamed up on "Top Gun: Maverick."

Fun fact: The Apple Original Film "Killers of the Flower Moon" won multiple top awards over the past year.
