The details: The Trump fundraiser, hosted by several former U.S. ambassadors, featured a dinner reception with Donald Trump Jr. and his fiancée Kimberly Guilfoyle, according to a copy of the invitation obtained by Axios.

• Eligible donors were limited to U.S. citizens and permanent residents, who raised $2 million for the former president's bid to retake the White House, a person familiar with the event told Axios.
• Co-hosts included former U.S. ambassadors to Spain, Portugal, Germany, Switzerland and the U.K.: Duke Buchan, George Glass, Ric Grenell, Ed McMullen and Woody Johnson.

Wintour, who has supported Biden since 2020 and raised funds for Barack Obama during his presidential campaigns, hosted the Democratic event, according to the Financial Times

• Wintour in March also hosted a fundraiser for Biden at Paris Fashion week, where she was joined by Rufus Gifford, Biden's campaign finance chair.
• Biden's campaign didn't immediately respond to an inquiry about how much the event raised.
