Poll: Patrick Mahomes is most liked NFL skill position player

Patrick Mahomes is the most-liked skill position player in the NFL, per Morning Consult's annual survey of U.S. adults.

By the numbers: Mahomes scored a net favorability rating of 34, which was calculated by taking the 41% of respondents with a favorable opinion of him and subtracting the 7% with an unfavorable opinion.

Notes:

Aaron Rodgers, who trailed only Drew Brees and Mahomes last season, saw his net favorability plummet from 32 to 15 this year.
Brady remains polarizing. 47% of respondents had a favorable opinion of him (highest of any player), while 22% had an unfavorable opinion (second-highest behind former teammate Antonio Brown).
