Bobby Finke wins Olympic gold for U.S. in men's 1,500-meter freestyle

Bobby Finke won Olympic gold for the U.S. in the men's 1,500-meter freestyle at the Tokyo Games on Sunday morning local time.

The big picture: Ukraine's Mykhailo Romanchuk won the silver medal and Florian Wellbrock bronze, despite the German leading for most of the race. Finke, 21, also won a gold medal in the first-ever men's Olympic 800-meter freestyle final on Thursday.
