Simone Biles tweeted her thanks Wednesday for the support she's received after pulling out of two Olympic gymnastics events to focus on her mental health.

What she's saying: "the outpouring love & support I’ve received has made me realize I’m more than my accomplishments and gymnastics which I never truly believed before. 🤍" Biles said.

The big picture: Since the 24-year-old four-time Olympic gold medalist withdrew from this week's Tokyo Games women's gymnastics team finals and the all-around final, fellow gymnasts, other sports personalities, leading public figures and fans have rallied behind her.

What to watch: Biles has qualified for all four of next week's individual event finals, but has yet to decide whether to take part in them.
