The Washington, D.C., Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) said late Monday that the FBI is investigating "unauthorized access on our server," per the Washington Post.

Details: It's unclear if any sensitive details have been compromised, or "whether police operations were affected," WashPost notes.
But the MPD said in a statement to news outlets, "While we determine the full impact and continue to review activity, we have engaged the FBI to fully investigate this matter."
The MPD and FBI did not immediately respond to Axios' request for comment.
