Cyclone kills 20 and displaces 2M in Bangladesh and India

At least 20 people have died and 2 million others displaced after Cyclone Bulbul struck the coastal areas of India and Bangladesh over the weekend, the Guardian reports.

The big picture: CNN notes the storm triggered flooding in both countries and reports Bangladesh Disaster Management minister Enamur Rahman as saying it damaged approximately 30,000 houses. "Falling debris" caused most of the deaths, Rahman said, per CNN.
