Trump: I'd "love" to be interviewed by Mueller

President Trump insisted Friday that he would "love" to sit down with Robert Mueller and answer his questions in relation to his investigation into possible collusion or obstruction of justice.

Why it matters: Trump's lawyers have been pushing, hard, against an interview between the president and Mueller. However, Trump told reporters Friday that he "would love to speak because we’ve done nothing wrong," and said he'd be willing to override his lawyers on that.

Trump said Rudy Giuliani is "a great guy," but that he's still “learning the subject matter” and getting his “facts straight” regarding the comments he made on Fox News about Trump's knowledge of the $130,000 payment to Stormy Daniels (which Trump has previously and publicly denied.) "He just started yesterday."
"We're not changing any stories" regarding Stormy Daniels, Trump insisted, despite Giuliani admitting that Trump reimbursed Michael Cohen for the payment.
“I thought the jobs report was very good ... the big thing for me was cracking four [percent unemployment]."
The White House has picked a date and location for planned talks with North Korean leader Kim Jong-un, Trump said, adding that a statement will be released shortly. He added that "a lot of things have already happened with regard to the hostages. I think you’re going to be seeing very good things.”
