Fox News announced today that it has hired conservative firebrand Tomi Lahren as a contributor, a logical landing spot after her prior stints at The Blaze and the Trump-supporting advocacy group Great America Alliance.
Her role: She'll "have a signature role on [a forthcoming] FNC digital product," but for now, she'll be acting as a political commentator "primarily" on Hannity, where she'll make her debut tonight.
Final thoughts: The move grants Fox News a young female — and often controversial — voice, allowing the network to diversify its lineup under the leadership of James and Lachlan Murdoch as they try to steer Fox News away from the toxic image of the Roger Ailes era.
