Sen. Warner questions why Trump still denies Russian interference

The top Democrat on the Senate Intelligence Committee questioned why President Trump won't acknowledge Russian interference. "Frankly, virtually every one of my Republican colleagues acknowledges Russian intervention. The one individual that still seems to deny that this is not a major issue is Donald Trump."

Why now: Former National Security Advisor, Mike Flynn, plead guilty to lying to the FBI about his conversations with Russian officials earlier today.

More from Warner:

"My hope is that General Flynn will tell everything he knows and tell why he was having these contacts with Russians, who directed these contacts. I think it goes well beyond the fact that he just lied to the FBI."
He wants to bring Jared Kushner back to the Hill for questioning: "I believe there's an awful lot of questions that Mr. Kushner still has to answer."
"We've got now two people pleading guilty, we've got a campaign manager and his deputy still under indictment. How many more figures have to be brought to justice because of their ties with Russia before we end up connecting all these dots?"
The Trump team "can't distance themselves" from Michael Flynn. Earlier, Trump lawyer Ty Cobb said nothing about Flynn's guilty please "implicates anyone other than Mr. Flynn.
