President Trump's overseas trip has come to an end and details from the G7 Summit meeting suggest he was the odd leader out, per Al Jazeera.
While meeting with leaders from Germany, Italy, Japan, U.K., France, Canada, Trump followed behind in a golf cart as the others walked together along the streets of Italy. And then this review from German Chancellor Angela Merkel dropped:
Here we have a situation of six against one, meaning there is still no sign of whether the US will remain in the Paris accord or not.
Merkel also touched on their climate change discussions, which were particularly difficult given Trump's unwillingness to make a decision on staying in the Paris deal. "The whole discussion on the topic of climate was very difficult, not to say very unsatisfactory," she said.
Why it matters: Although Merkel was referring to their difficult climate conversation, it was clear that Trump was the odd man out during his G7 meetings — and the last leg of his trip suggested he was continuing to be a disrupter in Europe.
