Ron DeSantis is Trump's latest victory.
Why it matters: DeSantis is one of the starkest examples of what it takes to win a Republican primary in 2018. He went all-in on molding himself after President Trump — including an ad in which he's "building a wall" of legos with his child. He even slammed his well-respected primary opponent Adam Putnam for denouncing Trump's "Access Hollywood" tape comments.
