The White House director of legislative affairs, Marc Short, revealed on Friday that he'll be leaving the administration this summer, the Associated Press reports.
Why it matters: Short's exit would follow a string of other departures this year, including those of former cabinet secretaries Rex Tillerson and David Shulkin, National Security Adviser H.R. McMaster, communications director Hope Hicks, and more. Trump has "frequently undercut the work of his legislative affairs team," per the AP.
