Ohio Attorney General Dave Yost asked the Federal Trade Commission Wednesday to drop its lawsuit to block the proposed $24.6 billion Kroger-Albertsons merger.
Why it matters: The companies have faced more opposition than support for the merger thus far and having allies on its side certainly helps.
