Kroger and Albertsons strike deal with Colorado to focus on FTC case

Kroger and Albertsons merger is further delayed after the parties agreed to postpone the close until after a Colorado court rules on a case brought by that state's attorney general to block it.

Why it matters: While the agreement provides time for the Colorado case to be heard, it also potentially pushes closing past the deal deadline of Oct. 9.
