The House reconciliation package is in serious trouble after a key procedural vote failedin the Budget Committee Friday due to the opposition of conservative Republican holdouts.
Why it matters: House Republicans will have to figure out how to satisfy the conservatives, who want more aggressive Medicaid changes and other rewrites to the bill.
The failure to approve the complete package means the goal of a House vote before Memorial Day is in doubt.
