The Hill:
- Elizabeth Cavalieri has joined Ro Khanna's office as political director. She previously worked for Evergreen Action and the Biden White House.
- Conner Swanson has joined the House Budget Committee as a senior adviser. He previously did comms for Kelly Armstrong and the Trump Interior Department.
- Blake Kernen has left the Budget Committee to join former Maryland Gov. Larry Hogan's Senate campaign.
Lobbying and industry:
- Jennifer Garson, a longtime DOE official, has joined Boundary Stone Partners as a senior vice president.
- Gina Coplon-Newfield, former chief of staff in DOE's Office of Policy, has joined Sunstone Strategies as a managing director.
- Gizelle Wray has joined the Solar Energy Industries Association as general counsel. She's worked at SEIA before but more recently directed regulatory affairs for Savion.
- Ray Fakhoury has joined Amazon Web Services to work on clean energy and data centers after a stint as a lobbyist for Pattern Energy.
- Isabel Mogstad has taken over as interim head of policy advocacy and federal government affairs at BP.
- Blake Deeley, former David McKinley and Trump administration staffer, has moved to a new role at American Clean Power: senior director of federal affairs.
- Will Anderson has rejoined the Business Roundtable after a stint as staff director for the House Financial Services capital markets subcommittee, where he ran an ESG working group.
- Timothy Pohle has joined Beveridge & Diamond as an of counsel attorney after serving vice president β environmental affairs at Airlines for America.
- Kelci Hobson has moved to the League of Conservation Voters as director of media relations after working on Cheri Beasley's 2022 Senate campaign.
Nonprofits and think tanks:
- Jake Abbott has joined Climate Power as a policy adviser after a three-year stint with Tom Carper and the Senate Environment and Public Works Committee.
- Caroline Behringer, a former spokesperson for Nancy Pelosi and the EPA, has joined Potential Energy Coalition as head of communications and partner engagement.
- Jackie Toth has been promoted to managing director of policy and external affairs at Good Energy Collective.
- K. Russell DeGraff, a former climate policy adviser for Pelosi, is a spring 2024 Shorenstein Fellow at the Harvard Kennedy School.
