1 big thing: Colorful street transformations
Watch more than 200 artists transform city streets into vibrant masterpieces at this year's Denver Chalk Art Festival.
Zoom in: The annual event, held around the Golden Triangle Creative District, will feature five artists who have been crafting their chalk art mastery for decades.
- They include pastel portrait specialist Dawn Wagner, award-winning artist Julie Kirk Purcell and Denver-based Chris Carlson, whose 3D creations double as optical illusions.
Zoom out: Food vendors and beverage booths will be sprinkled throughout the festival site on Bannock between 11th and 13th avenues.
If you go: The family-friendly event is free and runs this Saturday and Sunday.
- Nearby landmarks include the Denver Art Museum, Kirkland Museum, Clyfford Still Museum, Evans School and Leven Deli.

2. More fun festivals this weekend
๐ฌ๐ท The Denver Greek Festival will be held at the Greek Orthodox Cathedral tomorrow through Sunday. Enjoy authentic Greek food and wine, music and art, as well as live dancing and performances. Tickets are $5.
๐ฅฌ VegFest Colorado takes over the Auraria Campus on Sunday, featuring more than a dozen vendors serving plant-based meals. Vendors include Southern Fried Vegan, the Savage Beet and Boujee Biscuit. Tickets start at $10.
๐ญ Denver Fringe Festival, which supports independent performing artists, will highlight over 70 avant-garde performances all weekend including queer burlesque, solo clown acts and interactive theater. The fest is held across numerous venues in RiNo and Five Points. Tickets start at $20.
๐ฎ๐ณ The Indian Festival will be in Civic Center Park on Sunday. Celebrate Indian culture with traditional music, dance performances and a variety of authentic cuisines. Free.
๐บ If you're up for a short drive, head north for the Lafayette Brew Fest on Saturday. More than a dozen local breweries and distilleries will be pouring drinks. Food trucks and live music are also on deck. Tickets start at $27.

What we're watching: A new sports comedy series starring Owen Wilson and new seasons of "Love Island USA" and "Ginny & Georgia."

State of play: Owen Wilson stars as a washed-up, ex-pro golfer who gets a new lease on life by mentoring a troubled, teenage golf prodigy (played by Peter Dager).
What they're saying: "I've seen golf explode since COVID. We've seen a more diverse group of people playing. I've been super interested and happy about that. All these things coalesced into [the main character], the show and the story," creator Jason Keller tells Axios.
Behind the scenes: The series will feature guest appearances from golf stars including Collin Morikawa, Keegan Bradley, Max Homa and Wyndham Clark.
โฃ๏ธ "Love Island USA" season 7 available now on Peacock
Friction point: Ten new islanders have entered the villa and will have the burden of following the record-setting sixth season.
Driving the news: A spinoff starring the cast of season 6 is set to air this summer.
๐งจ "Ginny & Georgia" season 3 available now on Netflix
Catch up quick: This season picks up after Georgia (played by Brianne Howey) is arrested for murder during her wedding.
The latest: This dramedy will be coming back for a fourth season.
