Martin Shkreli, the notorious former hedge fund manager and pharmaceutical executive, was sentenced on Friday to seven years in prison on federal charges of wire and securities fraud.
The sentencing comes roughly two and a half years after the "Pharma Bro" came under fire for raising the price of an AIDS drug by more than 5,000 percent.
