Search-and-rescue operations for six crew members remain underway after two Marine Corps aircraft were involved in a "mishap" during regularly scheduled training off the coast of Japan, the AP reports.
Details: The two airplanes — a KC-130 refueling tanker and an F/A-18 fighter jet — reportedly collided about 200 miles off the coast of Iwakuni in southwestern Japan. One person has been rescued and is being evaluated by medical authorities. The circumstances of the crash are still under investigation, the Marine Corps tweeted Wednesday night.
