Culture vultures can party around the clock this week at two nighttime art events.
Why it matters: Team no sleep!
State of play: The District will host its 15th installment of Art All Night on Friday and Saturday evenings, featuring more than 150 artists across all eight wards.
- Last year's event drew 250,000+ guests.
How it works: Each night from 7pm to 3am, you can venture through D.C. to check out work and performances by painters, dancers, poets, writers, sculptors, and more.
- In between, pop into local shops or grab a bite at one of the over 100 participating restaurants — like Blue Jacket or Duke's Grocery — during the corresponding Dine All Night event running Thursday through Sunday.
- Plus: Join a Run for the Arts 5K race through Navy Yard on Sunday. (Free, check out the app with performances here)
Meanwhile, National Gallery Nights are back for their 10th season and will kick things off Thursday with a free after-hours cultural event themed around "American Icons."
- While the lottery for this month's event has already closed, some tickets are available first-come, first-served the night of the event.
- But the lottery for the October 8 and November 12 events (themed "Monster Mash" and "Gratitude," respectively) will open Sep. 28 and Nov. 2, with a separate system for members.

🎭 Brian Cox of "Succession" will star in Shakespeare Theatre Company's production of "The Score" starting Friday and running through Oct. 25. (Ticket prices vary)
🎉 Get your AdMo on during Sunday's Adams Morgan Day, aka the beloved annual neighborhood festival with food, music, and local shopping. (Free)
