Legendary PBS journalist Jim Lehrer's Cleveland Park house is on the market for $5 million.

Why it matters: Lehrer, who passed away in 2020, was the co-founder of PBS NewsHour and anchored the program for 36 years.

He also moderated 12 presidential debates and wrote 20 books, multiple plays, and three memoirs.
The journalist lived in the home with his wife, the author Kate Lehrer.

State of play: 3556 Macomb St. NW was built in 1907 and sits on a double lot, with five bedrooms and five bathrooms.
