If you're into streetwear β or discovering new independent brands β you're going to love checking out Euphoria Con this weekend.
Why it matters: The convention highlights the ecosystem that surrounds streetwear by bringing together over 100 designers, artists, vintage purveyors and artisans from the DMV and beyond.
State of play: The event takes place Saturday and Sunday at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center.
- It's hosted by Vandy the Pink β aka the hugely popular Virginia-based streetwear designer Junghoon Son, who's decked out celebs like Blackpink's Lisa and Billie Eilish.
- Brands on the event's lineup include big-time names like Hidden NY, Asics SportsStyle and local groups like Sister Skate Shop, The UΜth Club and Leche Mag.
If you go: The event runs from 12-6pm, with VIP entry at 10:30am.
- Tickets start at $25.
Here are other fun things to do this weekend:
π The musical "Beetlejuice" kicked off its D.C. run earlier this week at the National Theatre and will be in town through July 19. (Ticket prices vary)
